We are pleased to announce the addition of a new project located in Cambridgeshire to our website.

Bridgeman Construction has been appointed as the main constructor for the work including structural repairs and extension of a 1972 single-storey house.

Both the house and the garage are in need of refurbishment, new roof and a better thermal insulation strategy. The garage will undergo structural repairs, and as part of the works, it will be extended to provide a dedicated working from home space and much needed additional storage.

Following the design by Archmongers, the London based architecture and interior design studio, the garage extension is to be constructed from high quality materials and in keeping with the existing house and will support the improvement of a family house as well as utilise an under-used garden area to become a functional space.

The material palette has been chosen to ensure longevity, design merit, and sustainability to the existing building and its local context.
